Activities
Required Volunteer Hours:
Beg/Intermediate Mites: 5 hours
Advanced Mites: 10 hours
Squirts/Peewee: 15 hours
The above hours are per family so if you have a Beg and an Advanced Mite you are required to do 10 hours. If you have a child in both
Please note that working your regular team games (clock, score sheet, penalty box) does not count towards volunteer hours.
A $250 check is required for a deposit this is held and is given back once you fulfill your hours. Please give these to your team manager. We truly do not want anyone’s money we need the help to make our tournaments a success. Tournaments are our number one fundraiser and how we are able to keep hockey costs down.
Here are some Volunteer Duties and if you have already fulfilled your requirements we do not need a check.

· Locker Room Monitor (Squirts & Peewees) – fulfilled hours
· Party Planner for Mites – 8 hours

Player Commitment
"The D6 one league rule has been replaced with a player commitment contracts that reads as follows -
COMMITMENT TO TEAM – Players are expected to participate in all team activities (practices, games, tournaments, etc). An allowance for an “excused absence” upon notice that is reasonable under the circumstances may be established by teams and associations. However, unexcused absence is grounds for consequence to a player, as determined by the team or association, up to and including suspension.

USA Hockey's Board of Directors overwhelmingly passed all aspects of the Progressive Checking Skill Development Program during its 2011 Annual Congress.
Beginning in the 2011-12 season, legal body checking in games will begin at the Bantam age level (ages 13-14). See link below for more information.
